ECIS 2022 Panel Chairs
The long awaited e-mail finally came. We will host a panel discussion at ECIS 2022! All members of AI-bility team are overwhelmed with delight. The title is “Understanding the Digital Companions of Our Next Generation” and the panel represents our first milestone. ECIS (or the European Conference of Information Systems) is the leading information systems conference in Europe and in the world. The conference is affiliated with the Association for Information Systems (AIS). ECIS provides a platform for researchers and practitioners from all over the world to meet and discuss their ongoing projects. This year the conference will be held in Timisoara, Romania from June 19 to June 24.
We consider it a privilege to host a panel discussion at this prestigious conference. We are very grateful for the support of our panelists: Alexander Mädche, Cathrine Edelhard Tømte, Jenny Eriksson Lundström, Kieran Conboy, and Suprateek Sarker. The discussion will be moderated by Armin and Leona. Our aim is to provide an intellectual space for exploration and discussion. Such an intellectual space relies on conversation and idea exchange. For this purpose, we would like to involve the audience from the beginning, considering the audience as one of the panelists. Moreover, we would like to keep the conversation flowing without any premature definition of position.
We will meet the panelists in the coming weeks to brainstorm and get ready. Then we will also plan our Timisoara itineraries and pack our suitcase (with some digital companions inside)! We will let you know how the panel goes at the end of June.
